Selective entanglement coupling of nanoparticles in polymer nanocomposite with high shape recovery stress

Nanoparticles have been widely used to enhance mechanical properties of polymer matrix, however, the complex mechanisms interfacial entanglements, coupled confinements and coordinative motions among macromolecules nanoparticles not well understood. In this study, we develop a coupling model describe thermodynamic entanglements confinement effects within nanoparticle reinforced shape memory (SMP) nanocomposites. We found that relaxation SMP nanocomposite is determined by cooperative sub-entanglement topological entanglement macromolecule chains, which selectively behaviors enable high recovery stress Finally, effectiveness demonstrated applying it predict constitutive relationships behaviors, fundamental approach can reveal toughening strength in nanocomposites nanoparticles.
